Interactive Data, an analytics and market data provider, is to start supplying real-time market data from Nasdaq Dubai using XData, a market data solutions provider for the Middle East and Africa.

XData will provide Interactive Data with listed equities, derivatives and structured products data from Nasdaq Dubai, which will be disseminated via PlusFeed, Interactive Data’s global consolidated low-latency data feed.

XData will receive market data in real time directly from Nasdaq Dubai, which it will feed into XData’s information dissemination platform.

“Our international client base is keen to have access to more markets in the Middle East as the region can play an important part in their trading strategies,” said Hilary London, general manager, EMEA, Interactive Data’s Real-Time Services business.

“We continue to add more content to PlusFeed, and this arrangement with XData and Nasdaq Dubai will further increase the depth and breadth of data available to our clients.”

“We are delighted that Interactive Data, with the assistance of XData, is now providing our real-time market data both in the region as well as globally to brokers and market participants,” added Peter FitzGerald, COO, Nasdaq Dubai. “This service provides a valuable new pathway for customers to receive data from our exchange as we expand our product range and attract new investors.”

The latest announcement follows an agreement between Interactive Data and XData in October to provide its clients with financial markets data from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. As well as Nasdaq Dubai, the deal included supplying real-time pricing information for Middle Eastern stock markets including: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (United Arab Emirates); Bahrain Stock Exchange; Doha Securities Market (Qatar); Dubai Financial Market (United Arab Emirates); Muscat Securities Market (Oman) and Tadawul (Saudi Arabia).
