Agency broker and technology provider ITG has launched Smart Liquidity, a multimedia website offering strategies for finding and capitalising on liquidity.
The site contains perspectives from ITG's staff in North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region, including video interviews, blog posts and research papers.
The material covers topics including the significance of dark pools and their effect on transaction costs, the relevance of smart order routing in fragmented markets, how to use transaction cost analysis to best effect, and how trading behaviour has evolved in Europe following MiFID.
“Traders are grappling with the effects of exchange mergers, fragmentation, algorithm customisation, changing regulatory mandates and increased competition for liquidity,” said Chris Heckman, managing director and head of sales and trading at ITG. “Smart Liquidity is designed to offer traders a one-stop resource on a wide range of complex and evolving issues in the marketplace.”
Users can subscribe to receive RSS updates, download ITG reports and subscribe to Insights, the firm's publication focusing on industry issues. The website also links to ITG's news feed on social networking site Twitter. Smart Liquidity content will be updated weekly, and is accessible via YouTube and iTunes podcasts.
