Kepler Cheuvreux’s Cherry Albon set to join Berenberg

Albon has been with Kepler for four years; she joins Berenberg in February as an associate director.

Kepler Cheuvreux execution sales specialist Cherry Albon is set to join Berenberg next year, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

Albon has been appointed associate director, senior sales for EMEA electronic trading and program trading, set to join the firm in February next year, The TRADE can reveal. She will report to global head of electronic trading and distribution, Jason Rand.

Kepler Cheuvreux and Berenberg declined to comment.

Albon, who has been with Kepler for four years, has had an extensive career in execution sales. Prior to joining Kepler in 2019 she spent two years at Mirabaud Securities as a senior execution advisor, also serving under Rand prior to his move to Berenberg.

Previously in her career, she spent three and a half years as a cash equity broker at Tullett Prebon. She began her career at Newedge in a cash equity trading and sales role.

Berenberg took home the Algorithmic Trading Best User Experience Award at Leaders in Trading in November after its outperformance in The TRADE’s annual Algo Trading Survey.
