Algorithms and other services from US broker and technology provider Knight Capital are now available on NYSE Technologies’ Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) network.

SFTI customers can now access Knight’s electronic trading products and services from the same connections they currently use to access NYSE Euronext markets, other exchanges and brokers. NYSE Technologies is a subsidiary of global exchanges group NYSE Euronext.

Knight products include electronic market-making, access to equity liquidity, a multi-asset-class EMS, agency-only algorithms, the Knight Match dark pool, the HotSpot FX ECN and Knight BondPoint’s fixed income ECN.

Designed to provide a single point of access to the financial markets and market participants, NYSE Technologies’ SFTI network is specifically built for electronic trading and market data traffic and as such aims to reduce clients’ time-to-market, improve performance and lower trading infrastructure costs.

“We are committed to providing as many points as possible for market participants to access Knight’s liquidity, and our establishment as a destination on the SFTI network furthers our goal,” said Meaghan Mullins, managing director, Knight Capital Group.
