Omgeo, a provider of post-execution trade management solutions, has announced that Michael C. Bodson, executive managing director for business management, strategy and marketing for The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has joined the Omgeo Board of Managers. Mr. Bodson replaces Jill M. Considine, former chairman and CEO of DTCC.

Bodson joined DTCC in early 2007, reporting directly to Donald F. Donahue, DTCC chairman and CEO, and is primarily responsible for all product management, strategic planning, relationship management and marketing.

"Mike Bodson's broad industry perspective and keen insight will be invaluable to Omgeo," says Richard R. Macek, chairman of Omgeo. "Not only does he have global experience, particularly in Asia, that will benefit Omgeo's growth, but he has proven operations expertise that will help Omgeo continue to be both responsive to client issues and the changing trends affecting the industry."

Prior to his role at DTCC, Mr. Bodson spent more than 20 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as managing director and global head of operations. He has also worked for both Bear Stearns and Price Waterhouse.
