Keong Kim has joined Fidelity International after almost three years as head of trading at global asset manager PineBridge Investments.

London-based Kim will serve as an emerging markets fixed income trader in his role at Fidelity International.
Speaking on the appointment, Lars Salmon, head of trading – fixed income and FX at Fidelity International, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Keong Kim to our emerging markets fixed income trading team.
“His deep expertise and extensive experience, particularly in emerging market corporate credit, will complement our existing capabilities. We look forward to building on our long-standing tradition of excellence in EM trading with Keong’s appointment.”

Kim brings more than a decade of fixed income trading experience to his new position, and initially joined PineBridge Investments as a fixed income trader in 2016, where he held a vice president position in global emerging markets corporates.
Kim later stepped up as head of trading in October 2023 and also served as an assistant portfolio manager alongside this role.
In 2022, Kim was recognised as one of The TRADE’s Rising Stars of Trading and Execution, an accolade which celebrates promising talent on the buy-side.
In addition, PineBridge Investments also took home the award for Emerging Markets Trading Desk of the Year at The TRADE’s Leaders in Trading 2020 ceremony.
