Block electronic trading platform Pipeline Trading Systems has opened a Chicago office at 1 South Dearborn Street. “We’re very pleased to open a new office in Chicago,” says Fred Federspiel, President of Pipeline. “This investment will allow us to better serve our growing list of clients in the Midwest.”

Susan Hines, 35, also joins Pipeline from Loop Capital Markets in Chicago, where she was Vice President of Trading and responsible for building relationships with clients to facilitate equity trades. Her prior experience includes her position as a Senior Equity Trader at Harris Investment Management. Hines has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, has been awarded a CFA, and received a BS in Finance from Stetson University.

"We're excited to have Susan join the Pipeline sales team," says Michael Hayes, Vice President, Executive Director of Sales and Client Services. "Her trading expertise and deep roots in the Midwest will be a great asset to our clients and our firm."

New York-based Pipeline Trading Systems LLC is a registered broker/dealer and operator of Pipeline, an Alternative Trading System (ATS) that aims to enable institutions and brokerage firms to quickly and efficiently trade large blocks of NYSE, AMEX, and Nasdaq listed issues, ADRs and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
