Convergex’s head of trading for EMEA, Jason Rand, has left the business, a Convergex spokesperson has confirmed.
Rand had headed up trading in EMEA and the Asia Pacific region for the agency broker since joining the business in 2012.
Prior to joining Convergex he served as head of Asia Pacific trading for G-Trade, a subsidiary of Convergex Group.
From 2007 to 2009, he worked as a connectivity consultant for trading technology provider Eze Castle Software.
Convergex said a reorganisation of its London team means there is no direct replacement for Rand, though Phil Gough is CEO of its UK subsidiary Convergex Limited and John Holl is head of sales and trading.
