SmartStream names new CEO ahead of ‘upcoming acquisitions’

Former CEO, Philippe Chambadal, to focus on reference data and fees management utilities “in anticipation of upcoming acquisitions.’

SmartStream announced today the appointment of Haytham Kaddoura as its new chief executive officer, working alongside former CEO Philippe Chambadal, who will assume the role of president.

Chambadal is set to focus on the firm’s reference data and fees management utilities in anticipation of upcoming acquisitions.

Chairman of the board, Khalifa Al Daboos, said Chambadal has taken SmartStream “from a software vendor to a global managed services provider working with the largest banks in the world.”

Newly appointed CEO Kaddoura previously worked on the board of directors at SmartStream, and is a member of the board for SmartStream’s reference data utility.

He said he aims to “continue positioning SmartStream at the forefront of the industry.”
