The TRADE is delighted to welcome Patrick Wright to its commercial team as account manager, joining the publication on 17 July.

Wright will help support the continued expansion of the business, working across the full product suite, including print, digital, special projects, and our renowned awards evenings.

He joins The TRADE from MediaWorks NZ, where he served as account executive. Prior to that, he operated as a sales and operations coordinator at Epic Brewery Company.

Elsewhere in his career, Wright spent five years at Sabato Ltd as a sales merchandiser.

Commenting on the appointment, Daljit Sokhi, director of sales at The TRADE and Global Custodian, said: “Patrick brings a great skillset with him to our sales floor. He has charisma, personability, experience working in foreign markets, and most importantly, the drive to succeed in negotiating and closing deals. He’s making an immediate impact at The TRADE!”

His hire follows the recent addition of Claudia Preece as senior reporter for The TRADE.

“Working with an incredibly respected news platform like The TRADE is something I’m very proud of,” said Wright. “I’m excited to be a part of this talented team and bring my past experiences into a new sector.”
