The new offering onboards 11 contracts onto the Terminal, such as the FADX15 index futures and single stock futures, and is set to boost the visibility of Abu Dhabi’s capital markets at a global level.

Bloomberg has added the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Group’s derivatives offerings and market data to its Terminal, in an effort to respond to global investor demand for these products.

Specifically, the Bloomberg Terminal has onboarded ADX’s suite of derivatives data, spanning 11 contracts such as the FADX15 index futures and single stock futures.

The move expands global investor access to these contracts, providing more than 350,000 financial professionals using the Terminal – including hedge funds, asset managers and brokers – with real-time visibility to ADX’s derivatives market and key listed companies in the UAE.

“We are pleased to support ADX in expanding access to its derivatives market through the Bloomberg Terminal. This integration provides institutional investors with the data and access to identify opportunities within the region’s fast-growing derivatives ecosystem,” said Josh Steiner, board member and senior advisor at Bloomberg.

The new offering is also expected to support the continued development and accessibility of Abu Dhabi’s capital markets, and boost the region’s importance as a player in the global financial ecosystem.
