Elias Hatchuel has joined BlackRock as an equity trader, following a nearly seven-year tenure at Berenberg.
Hatchuel joins the asset management giant in London, and most recently served as an electronic equities trader at Berenberg.
He initially joined Berenberg in October 2019, before later moving up to trading operations and trader-based roles.
Earlier in his career, Hatchuel also worked in AI and technology-focused positions.

BlackRock declined to comment when contacted by The TRADE.
In December 2025, BlackRock promoted Paul Battams as global head of equity trading.
Battams has spent 17 years at the investment management giant in a range of senior trading roles, most recently as head of international equity trading.
