BNY’s current head of fixed income EMEA, Bianca Gould, has taken on an expanded role as global head of equities.
London-based Gould initially joined the firm in 2024, and over the course of her 20-year industry career, has worked extensively across the sell-side in various equities and electronic trading-related roles.
Prior to joining BNY, Gould co-headed electronic sales and trading at RBC Capital Markets, a role she held for almost three years.

During her time at RBC, Gould assumed responsibility for growing the firm’s client base and market share, and also built out client relationships, working alongside the electronic product innovation teams for equities in Europe.
Earlier, she also held a 15-year tenure at Redburn – now known as Rothschild & Co. – starting out in a position covering equities cash sales trading, before moving up the ranks to serve as head of algorithmic solutions.
She was made partner at the firm in 2009 and remained the youngest partner appointed to date until the removal of the programme after her departure.
