Invesco
Invesco has appointed Tim Clavin as deputy head of ETF capital markets, Americas. 
Clavin will be based in New York and joins from BlackRock, where he most recently served as vice president.
In that role, he led ETF trading solutions for clients and sales across the firm’s institutional and wealth channels.
Previously, he spent 10 years at Vanguard, initially joining in 2015 as a fund financial analyst on the Vanguard accelerated development program.
He later moved up the ranks to fixed income product manager, a role he held for two years.
ExodusPoint Capital Management
ExodusPoint Capital Management has expanded its London desk, with the appointment of Jade Beckmann.
Beckmann joins the buy-side firm as an equity trader, and most recently spent three years at Pictet Asset Management, where she held the same position.
Prior to this, she spent more than a year at Bloomberg, where she initially worked as an equity specialist in financial products, before later moving into a sales role.
She also gained early career experience at Bloomberg in 2020, where she worked across analytics and sales, based in Hong Kong.
Barclays
Jack Hill has joined Barclays’ quant prime services desk, in a role covering equities electronic trading across EMEA.
London-based Hill will focus on direct market access and low-latency trading in his new position, The TRADE understands.
Prior to joining Barclays, he spent more than three years at Euronext, where he worked as an equity sales manager for the UK and Ireland.
Earlier in his career, Hill has also worked at various sell-side firms, including more than three years at Credit Suisse as an execution trader, and a nearly six-year stint at UBS as a client account manager.
He also began his industry career as a FX trader at JNFX in 2013.
Hosking Partners
Hosking Partners has appointed Emma Tapp as an equity trader, following a 12-year tenure at Highclere International Investors.
Tapp joins the London-based, boutique investment manager after most recently serving as head of trading at Highclere, a role she has held since 2013.
“Tapp’s responsibilities at Hosking Partners will be as an equity dealer for the firm,” said Sigrid Smith, associate director of client services and business development at Hosking Partners, speaking to The TRADE.
“We are all very excited to have had her join the business.”
Tapp was previously recognised as one of The TRADE’s Rising Stars of Trading and Execution in 2022, an award which celebrates up-and-coming talent on the buy-side.
Velocity Trade
Velocity Trade has expanded its APAC equities desk, with the appointment of Freddie Dolcezza.
Dolcezza joins the firm as an equity trader and most recently spent two years at Stifel in London, where he held the same position.
Before Stifel, Dolcezza spent more than seven years at Hargreaves Lansdown in Bristol.
He joined the firm in 2017 as a client support agent and became an equity dealer in 2019. He was later promoted to market dealer, a role he held for three and a half years.
