Agency broker Instinet has made its alternative trading systems (ATSs) and suite of algorithms directly available to users of the Charles River Investment Management System (IMS).
Instinet’s global platforms are now available as a destination within the Charles River IMS, and can be accessed using a single, global order ticket. The platforms now available include the Instinet Execution Experts suite of global algorithms, Instinet’s eight dark pools around the world and the Chi-X platforms in Europe and Canada.
“Instinet has long pursued a global policy of openness with our liquidity, and today’s agreement with Charles River is further evidence of our commitment to this philosophy,” said Frank Freitas, head, global product strategy, Instinet, in a statement. “We believe this agreement will help improve the workflow of Charles River’s client base, and at the same time potentially add liquidity to our global ATS platforms.”
