Credit Suisse reorganises electronic trading unit

Credit Suisse has reshuffled senior management within its Advanced Execution Services (AES) division in Europe, with Chris Marsh taking responsibility for the firm’s electronic trading services unit in the region.

Credit Suisse has reshuffled senior management within its Advanced Execution Services (AES) division in Europe, with Chris Marsh taking responsibility for the firm’s electronic trading services unit in the region.

Marsh becomes European head of AES in addition to his existing role as head of AES trading and development. 

In addition, Rob Maher, previously head of AES sales, Europe at Credit Suisse, has moved to the Swiss bank’s fixed income division as global head of Efx sales.

Maher’s responsibilities will be assumed by Matthew Cousens and James Hilton as co-heads of AES sales, Europe, reporting to Marsh.

The division, which was an early pioneer of electronic trading solutions for institutional investors, has desks and development teams spanning London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong, offers algorithmic trading strategies, tools and analytics for trading globally.
