The move sees StoneX Digital onboarding to EDX Markets, through which the firm will leverage EDX’s trading venue and central clearinghouse model.
This integration is expected to enhance StoneX Digital’s client offering, spanning market structure, operational efficiencies and access to robust liquidity.
“StoneX is a highly respected global financial services firm with deep relationships across traditional markets, and their onboarding to EDX underscores the growing demand for institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure,” said Tony Acuña-Rohter, chief executive of EDX Markets.

The collaboration will also support StoneX Digital clients looking to gain streamlined and scalable access into digital asset markets.
The news comes amid increasing institutional interest in digital assets across the industry, as a growing number of firms look to bridge the gap between traditional finance and these markets.
Eric Rose, global head of StoneX Digital, added: “EDX’s differentiated market structure and focus on operational efficiency align with our commitment to providing secure, transparent and high-performance access to our clients.”
EDX Markets has recently centred itself at the heart of this increasing demand for digital asset integration, and in July 2026, the firm closed a $76 million Series C funding round led by SBI Holdings.
The funding is expected to boost institutional digital asset infrastructure for the firm, and will allow EDX Markets to expand its trading, clearing and settlement capabilities, as well as grow it product development and global operations.
