FairXchange appoints LSEG’s former solutions business director as COO

Incoming COO brings a wide range of experience to FairXchange, having previously served at Google Cloud and Microsoft, as well as investment banks such as Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley.

FX liquidity analytics firm FairXchange, part of United Fintech, has appointed Martin Bradford as chief operating officer.

Bradford joins FairXchange from London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where he most recently served as solutions business director with the firm’s data and analytics division – responsible for leading, transforming and delivering solutions with data platforms and services.

Before that, Bradford held various senior positions in the financial services divisions at Google Cloud and Microsoft.

In addition, he brings considerable experience in FX prime brokerage and sales to FairXchange, having served at global investment banks including Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, RBS Global Banking and Markets, and JP Morgan Chase & Co.

“[Bradford’s] track record speaks for itself, with deep experience and knowledge across capital markets, technology and data,” said Guy Hopkins, founder and chief executive of FairXchange.

“He joins us at an incredibly exciting time of rapid growth and will play a central role in shaping our trajectory as we scale.”

Speaking on his appointment, Bradford added: “I am delighted to join FairXchange to help scale the company’s noble mission of enabling more transparent foreign exchange trading for all market participants.

“There is a clear gap in the market for the innovative Horizon platform to help improve trading relationships through insightful liquidity analytics.”
