Cantor Fitzgerald has appointed Jim White as head of fixed income cross asset sales, according to an internal memo seen by the TRADE.

He joins from Stifel, where he served for 14 years, most recently as a managing director and institutional fixed income salesperson. White has also previously held roles at Raymond James, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs.
In his new role, he will lead cross-asset sales spanning structured products, municipals, agency products and rates, The TRADE understands.
The hire adds to a string of recent additions Cantor has made to its fixed income sales and trading operations aiming to help the firm build out its global fixed income business.
Earlier this month, another ex-Stifel employee, Joe Gilbert, also joined Cantor Fitzgerald as director of fixed income and emerging markets credit trading.

White’s appointment continues a pattern of wider transfers from Stifel following its shuttering, as exclusively revealed by The TRADE in December 2025.
The closing of Stifel’s trading operations came as the firm looked to shift its focus toward becoming an advisory-led business in Europe with capital raising capabilities for mid-market issuers.
