Independent agency broker Abel Noser Corp has hired Chris Heckman as a senior adviser.
Heckman will advise Abel Noser on a variety of strategic and tactical issues, with a focus on helping clients utilise the firm’s historical trade measurement and liquidity data to produce customised algorithms and other execution solutions.

Before joining Abel Noser, Heckman spent 20 years at ITG from 1991 to 2011, where he helped the broker-dealer revolutionise its electronic trading platform.
Heckman was head of ITG’s US sales and trading for 14 years and a member of the firm’s executive committee.
Earlier in his career, Heckman worked in program trading at Salomon Brothers.
