FlexTrade Systems, provider of algorithmic execution management systems, announced on Wednesday it has been named by FX Week for the second consecutive year as the best algorithmic trading technology vendor in the FX space.

The award, given by the editors and judges of FX Week during its fourth annual US congress in New York, singled out FlexTrade’s FlexFX as being the best algorithmic trading solution for foreign exchange in terms of technology and the range of services provided to clients. Other contenders in the field included DEALhub, FXall, Icap and Lava.

FlexFX is a broker-neutral solution that provides foreign exchange trading capabilities, helps to minimise market impact, transaction costs and risk exposure with an array of tools for implementing intelligent trading strategies, including user-defined analytics for real-time quantitative trading and order management, says FlexTrade. The system operates as a real-time risk management tool, and allows traders to create individual trading strategies with fully customisable analytics and visual alarms coupled with integrated quantitative capabilities, smart routing connectivity and real-time data.

“We are honoured and gratified to be chosen for this high distinction,” says Vijay Kedia, president and CEO, Flextrade Systems. “Winning it for the second consecutive year further confirms that FlexFX offers the functionality and adaptability to stand the test of time,” he adds.
