Harbour Capital Partners, a London-based hedge fund services provider, has teamed up with financial technology firm Sophis to offer VALUE, Sophis’s integrated asset management system, to its hedge fund clients.

According to Sophis, VALUE is able to scale as the funds it supports grow in size and complexity. By using VALUE, Harbour’s clients will be able to implement true straight-through processing across all their trading activity, the firm said.

According to Sophis, the system will provide both the fund manager and Harbour’s risk management team with sophisticated tools that will allow them to quantify and disaggregate risks inherent in a portfolio. Risk exposures are reviewed independently and managed within the limits prescribed by the fund.

“There is increased demand for transparency and risk control from investors particularly institutional investors, and access to Sophis will enable clients to meet that demand,” said Harbour CEO Steve Williams in a statement.
