Kepler Cheuvreux becomes latest firm to utilise Plia’s Know Your Broker platform

The platform boasts over 50 broker-dealers and will be used by Kepler Cheureux to gain efficiencies in the communication process with asset management clients.

Kepler Cheuvreux has partnered with Plia to meet client demand for the latter’s Know Your Broker (KYB) platform.

Kepler Cheuvreux joins a growing list of more than 50 broker-dealers utilising Plia KYB globally to gain efficiencies in the communication process with asset management clients.

“We are very pleased to have partnered with Plia as its design allows us to streamline efficiencies in various ways,” Chris McConville, managing director at Kepler Cheuvreux, told The TRADE.

“Plia puts data security and control at the forefront, which brings financial institutions together by the use of secure document sharing and alerting via a single-point interface.”

Plia has been engaged with the European marketplace over the past three years, buoyed by its strategic partnership with the Plato Partnership since early 2020.

“I am personally delighted with Plia’s growth to date and the ability of our team to serve our buy-side client’s needs and requirements,” Bill Stephenson, chairman of Plia, told The TRADE.

“By adding leading market participants like Kepler Cheuvreux, we are able to continue our plan to accelerate into next year. We look forward to working with Chris McConville and his team.”

Despite challenging years caused by the pandemic, Plia’s Stephenson noted that 2021 and 2022 were strong for the firm in terms of onboarding both buy- and sell-side firms. Asset managers representing more than $25 trillion in AUM are currently utilising Plia’s due diligence tools, with demand for transparency expected to increase.

“We are delighted to have Kepler Cheuvreux on board with Plia KYB – the leading buy-side due diligence platform,” said Anita Karppi, strategic advisor at Plia, speaking to The TRADE.

“Our buy-side growth and trajectory has been very impressive over the past twelve months and we are working in collaboration with our buy-side clients to enhance our functionality together and grow our platform.”
