Liquidnet hires TABB Group’s Healey to head up market structure

Rebecca Healey, formerly of TABB Group, is to join Liquidnet as head of market structure and strategy.

Dark pool operator Liquidnet has appointed Rebecca Healey as head of market structure and strategy.

Healey will produce research and insights for European fixed income and equities markets, as part of her new role at Liquidnet.

She joined TABB Group in March 2011 as a European consultant, and has experience working at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.

In 2009, Healey was appointed UK Trade and Investment officer for the British Embassy in Bahrain and her experience spans 18 years.

Mark Pumfrey, head of Liquidnet in Europe, said Healey’s experience is set to help its members “navigate the complexities of UK and European market structure.”

Healey added that the move will allow her to “specialise, focusing on European equities and fixed income.”

She said: “MiFID II is such a broad topic that at times it appears you are only scratching the surface.”
