Torstone Technology has expanded its senior leadership team with the addition of MillenniumIT’s former chief executive officer.
Mack Gill departed MillenniumIT - a trading technology subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange - in April this year and joined Torstone in August as its new chief operating officer.
During his four-year stretch with the firm, MillenniumIT grew its business and client partnerships with global exchange groups, clearing houses, banks and brokers.
Prior to joining MillenniumIT, Gill served as a senior executive of global technology at SunGard, now known as FIS. He oversaw the firm’s global technology strategy and consulting businesses, leading a team of around 5,000 staff.
Brian Collings, CEO at Torstone Technology, explained strengthening the management team is a key part of the firm’s plans to expand its cross-asset platform to new regions and market segments.
“We will benefit greatly from Gill’s extensive market and leadership experience… [He] will also take an operational role in enhancing and scaling our client service and engagement,” Collings said.
