Rupert Fennelly has been appointed as head of electronic trading in Europe for Morgan Stanley, theTRADEnews.com understands.
He takes over from Brian Gallagher, who is believed to be transferring to the US to head up Morgan Stanley’s electronic trading operations.
Fennelly was previously managing director and head of MSET for the Americas, a role he has held since 2010.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley he spent seven years as a director at Credit Suisse.
Morgan Stanley declined to comment on the reshuffle.
