Morningstar’s equity research will now be available through independent investment research provider, ResearchPool.
Clients of ResearchPool will have access to quantitative analysis and data in nearly 17 million equities, funds, ETFs, indices, futures and foreign exchange markets.
ResearchPool was formed as a “new way to access financial research”, in response to MiFID II unbundling rules, which come into effect on 3 January 2018.
It’s co-founder and CEO Pedro Fernandes, explained Morningstar is the 95th provider registered on ResearchPool, with 34,800 different company analyses on its platform.
Jean-François Bay, CEO of Morningstar in France, added the firm’s success lies in its “unique methodology”, and it will continue its push into the US.
