Morse, a consulting firm, announced on Monday it has appointed two senior members to its private client and wealth management team.

David Couch will head the firm's wealth management practice, and Chris Deacon joins the team as principal consultant. Both join Morse from D&C Financial Consultants, a niche consultancy of which they were directors and co-founders in 2006.

Morse describes itself as a management consultancy with a buy-side specialism that provides management and applications consulting across the value chain of the financial services and investment asset management industry. Their clients include asset managers, custodians, administrators, brokers and other service providers and technology vendors.

"Morse continues to expand its financial services presence, and these new appointments will significantly enhance our team in the private client and wealth management sector," comments Dean Lumer, partner, Morse. "Couch and Deacon bring valuable knowledge and experience to this growing practice, and their appointment marks an exciting development for the company in this important area," he says.

Monday's appointments by Morse follow the announcements in recent weeks of other senior appointments to its financial services practice in London, Edinburgh and Jersey.
