NYSE Arca Europe, a European multilateral trading facility (MTF) backed by global exchange group NYSE Euronext, will add five Irish stocks to its trading platform from 15 June.

The stocks are Allied Irish Banks, Bank of Ireland, CRH, Kerry Group and Ryanair Holdings.

The platform now offers trading in liquid stocks from eleven European countries: Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Parent company NYSE Euronext operates exchanges in France, Belgium Portugal and the Netherlands.

Unlike other pan-European MTFs, NYSE Arca Europe charges both for posting and taking liquidity. The platform can be accessed via NYSE Euronext’s Universal Trading Platform (UTP), the exchange group’s single point of access and trading system for its cash and derivatives markets.

Trades executed on NYSE Arca Europe can be cleared by EuroCCP or LCH.Clearnet.
