OpenFin appoints Pellucid Analytics co-founder as chief product officer

Industry veteran and co-founder of Pellucid Analytics joins financial operating system OpenFin in senior role.

Financial operating system OpenFin has appointed the co-founder of data platform Pellucid Analytics as its chief product officer.

Adrian Crockett has joined OpenFin in New York and will work with the firm’s client base to build the industry’s app infrastructure, as well as lead product development for all offerings.

“Adrian was the ideal candidate for us with an exceptional understanding of enabling digital transformation at a macro level as well as deep expertise in end-user ergonomics and application design at a micro level,” said Mazy Dar, CEO of OpenFin.

Prior to launch Pellucid Analytics, Crockett headed investment banking strats at Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch, where he oversaw quantitative corporate finance advisory practices and digital transformation projects. He has also previously worked as a director at Deutsche Bank.

He remained the CEO of Pellucid Analytics, an integrated platform that looks to streamline the formation of investment banking pitch books through data visualisation and customisable content, until the company was acquired in 2019 by a large market data vendor.

“I am incredibly excited to join a firm that has seen so much success and essentially wrote the book on modernising the financial desktop. Even more thrilling is the opportunity to play a leading role as the company enters its next phase and works to enable digital transformation across the financial services industry,” Crockett commented.
