PLUS Markets Group, a London-based exchange group for small- and mid-cap stocks, has appointed ex-AIM UK head Rachel Maguire as its new head of strategic development and marketing.
Maguire will be responsible for establishing strategic business development initiatives in the UK and internationally. She will report to Cyril Theret, director of business development at PLUS.
Maguire joins PLUS from risk management firm RiskMetrics Group, where she was international head of governance account management.
During her time at the London Stock Exchange, Maguire held the position of head of UK business development and head of AIM (Alternative Investment Market) UK, where she headed account management and business development for the UK main market and AIM.
“Rachel is a great addition to our team,” said Theret. “Her formidable knowledge and experience of the markets, particularly in the small and mid-caps, is second to none. Furthermore, she knows PLUS very well, having formerly chaired our advisory group, and we expect her strategic input to be invaluable in PLUS’ future growth.”
