RenCap Securities, the US subsidiary of emerging markets-focused investment bank Renaissance Capital, has added a former Goldman Sachs head to its equity sales team.

Richard Lumelleau joins RenCap Securities as head of equity sales, North America, based in New York. He will start his new role on 3 October 2011. Lumelleau will report to Yonatan Gozdanker, global head of equities, and Anthony Simone, CEO of RenCap Securities.

Lumelleau worked at Goldman Sachs for 11 years, most recently as head of EEMEA equity sales in New York. He also worked at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he covered institutional accounts in emerging European markets.
