Societe Generale brings in Marcus Consolini

Societe Generale Global Markets has hired Marcus Consolini to work in its its Hong Kong-based electronic sales team.

Societe Generale Global Markets has hired Marcus Consolini to work in its its Hong Kong-based electronic sales team.

He has been appointed as a managing director and head of electronic sales and trading for Asia Pacific and will be reporting to Stephane Loiseau, head of cash equities, Asia Pacific and deputy global head of execution.

The role he has been hired for has been newly created. A spokesperson for Societe Generale confirmed his arrival and said that a more detailed statement about the firm’s Asian electronic trading strategy would be forthcoming soon.

Consolini previously worked at JP Morgan in Hong Kong as head of its Asia electronic client sales and trading team.
