Standard Chartered Bank chooses BT for network services

BT has announced that Standard Chartered Bank, an international bank with operations in more than 50 countries worldwide, has signed a global network services contract with BT.

BT has been selected to supply international network services to Standard Chartered Bank in 16 countries, including UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia. A Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network, in addition to existing infrastructure, was put in place to eliminate single points of failure and minimise risk globally, says BT.
