Thomson Reuters FXall appoints new head from NEX Traiana

NEX Traiana veteran Jill Sigelbaum leaves firm after 15 years to oversee FXall business.

Thomson Reuters’ foreign exchange electronic trading platform business has appointed a new leader from NEX Traiana.

Jill Sigelbaum has been appointed head of FXall and will oversee the business as of next week, according to a spokesperson.

She joins Thomson Reuters from NEX Group where she has spent the past 15 years, most recently as global head of foreign exchange.

Sigelbaum first joined in 2003 as a sales executive before working her way up to various senior roles including global head of sales and global head of business development and strategic partnerships.

“We are delighted to have Jill onboard. Jill’s experience and expertise will bring a broad perspective to our FX offerings beyond front office execution,” said Neill Penney, global head of trading at Thomson Reuters.

“As well as driving the FXall business forward, she has the leadership capabilities necessary to work at an industry level to continue Thomson Reuters’ tradition of innovation in the FX market.”

Thomson Reuters FXall currently has more than 2,300 institutional clients and 180 major FX banks and market makers using the platform.
