TP ICAP reshuffles senior management

Nicolas Breteau will assume responsibility for the global broking business at TP ICAP.

TP ICAP has made several new appointments within its senior management team, including a new head of its global broking business.

Nicolas Breteau will assume sole responsibility for global broking at TP ICAP as the firm looks to streamline its overall management structure.

Nick Deflora will step down from his role as CEO of ICAP Americas and deputy CEO of TP ICAP Americas at the end of December this year.

His position will be taken up by John Abularrage, who will take responsibility for the region and oversee global broking for both brands as of January next year.

David Casterson has also been appointed vice chairman of ICAP and he will support the regional and global product heads within TP ICAP.

He will be TP ICAP’s most senior representative of the ICAP brand globally and he will relinquish his role as CEO of global broking.

John Phizackerley, CEO of TP ICAP, explained Casterson has a deep knowledge in the business and the markets in which it operates.

“He is the ideal person to ensure that the ICAP brand continues to have a persuasive advocate and strong voice among the leadership of the firm. His experience and input will continue to be invaluable to me and to TP ICAP as a whole,” Phizackerley added.
