The direct market access services of Austria’s Raiffeisen Centrobank have been made available to other clients of RTS Realtime Systems Group, via the trading technology provider’s RTD Connect solution.

One RTS client is already trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange via Raiffeisen Centrobank’s DMA service and at least one other has enquired about establishing a link.

Following bilateral negotiations between Raiffeisen Centrobank and the German-based client, RTS facilitated the exchange of trades between the two firms via RTD Connect. According to RTS, the solution only requires a “plug ‘n’ play interface” between two RTD servers for deployment.

Raiffeisen Centrobank has also been using RTD Realtime Trading Desktop, a high-performance trading platform, for its proprietary trading.

“With this new offering, we are able to further strengthen our order routing reach, providing customers with the full scope of functionality available on Xetra Vienna. Further routing destinations are available on request,” said Gunter Englhart, responsible for order routing for Raiffeisen Centrobank.

“We are pleased to deepen our long-term relationship with Raiffeisen Centrobank and to offer a new benefit to other customers as we extend our RTD Connect Network. With this endeavour, we now have an additional partner offering connectivity to other RTS customers,” said Christian Zahm, Sales Manager, RTS in Frankfurt.
