Tradeweb, a technology and electronic trading platform provider, has added UK market making firm Winterflood to its Autex indications of interest (IOI) service.
Winterflood will distribute IOI content for small-, medium- and large-cap European securities via Autex and aims to improve matches via its SMART IOI algorithm, which supplements broker-dealers’ target list with additional active buy-side clients. According to Tradeweb, this enables sell-side firms to complete more trades and exposes buy-side institutions to additional pools of liquidity based on their trading activity over the Autex network.
