Adam Webb is expected to join Principal Asset Management after almost two decades at Aviva Investors, The TRADE has learnt.
The TRADE understands that he will take up an equity trading role.
“[Webb] is set to join Principal Asset Management in September and we look forward to him joining the team then,” a spokesperson for Principal Asset Management confirmed.
Webb brings extensive buy-side experience to the position and takes on the role at the firm after an 18-year tenure at the global asset manager, which he joined in 2008.
During his time at Aviva Investors, Webb served as an equity trader, based in London.

Earlier this year, in January 2026, Fred Bethell left Aviva Investors after seven years as an equity trader, to join CLSA as a program trader.
Bethell brought more than 15 years of financial markets’ experience to his new position, spanning various roles and asset classes.
