BSO and CryptoStruct partner on ultra-low-latency Tokyo to London microwave route for crypto data

The new microwave-enabled service delivers Tokyo crypto market data to London with a one-way server-to-server latency of 66ms, which is about 3ms faster than existing fibre lines. Network infrastructure provider BSO has entered into a partnership with market data and trading technology specialist CryptoStruct to deliver Tokyo crypto market data to London over a microwave connection.

The new route achieves a server-to-server latency of below 66 ms, a significant improvement over the fastest available fibre lines that trading firms have relied on to date for the Tokyo–London corridor.

This service is also being offered at a highly competitive price point relative to existing connectivity options on the route – a combination of speed and cost that could lower the barrier to entry for latency-sensitive strategies between the two locations.

The reduction is expected to be of particular interest to the growing community of prediction market traders as Tokyo’s crypto markets remain a decisive force in global price discovery, making the speed at which such data reaches London a key competitive factor.

Under the partnership, BSO contributes its long-standing expertise in building and operating ultra-low-latency global networks, and CryptoStruct brings its know-how from the low-latency space, including normalised market data and execution technology for digital assets
