Broadridge bets on prediction markets with Kalshi

The move brings event contracts into existing trading workflows, allowing investors to trade on real-world outcomes alongside traditional asset classes.

Broadridge has made Kalshi event contracts available for trading through CQG, its futures and options trading, execution management and market connectivity business.

Participants on NYFIX, Broadridge’s buy-side order routing network, will also be able to access the contracts through the CQG-NYFIX integration.

The integration allows retail and institutional investors to trade on real-world events and manage exposure across asset classes.

Ryan Moroney, chief executive of CQG said: “Investors want to turn their views on real-world events into actionable trading strategies.

“With Kalshi live on CQG, we’re bringing that opportunity to a platform our clients already trust, alongside the markets they already trade. It’s a powerful next step in Broadridge’s multi-asset strategy, giving investors more choices and brokers a trusted way to meet demand for prediction markets.”

Specifically, the integration provides direct trading access and market data through CQG front ends and APIs widening distribution of Kalshi markets to futures commission merchants (FCMs) and brokers through an existing trading platform.

Trading access will also be extended to more than 1,700 buy-side clients that use the NYFIX network for connectivity.

Andy Ross, head of institutional at Kalshi added: “Prediction markets are now part of investors’ trading toolkits, not separate from them.

“Working with Broadridge and CQG brings Kalshi to a broader audience, connecting event contracts with traditional markets. Traders can now precisely hedge their exposure, not by using some proxy, while trading and monitoring positions in the same environment they already use.”

Under the integration, investors can use their existing infrastructure and tools to monitor event contract positions alongside their wider trading portfolios and assess hedging opportunities across markets.

For Broadridge, the launch adds to its multi-asset trading offering while for Kalshi, it’s designed to extend reach among users of CQG technology.

The rollout follows against a backdrop of increased client demand in the US and EMEA.
