Aquis Exchange has confirmed it will launch on 26 November and announced the initial range of stocks it plans to trade.
Aquis, a new pan-European exchange headquartered in London, was founded by Alasdair Haynes, former CEO of Chi-X Europe, and will offer a subscription-based pricing model.
Last week, Haynes confirmed that Aquis had received regulatory approval from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority.
It held a dress rehearsal to test the venue’s system at the end of last week.
The first phase of the exchange’s launch will cover UK, French and Dutch stocks, with constituents of the FTSE 100, CAC 40 and AEX 25 included. Other stocks will be added to the venue in mid-January.
