The Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) has said it is operating as normal today despite being hit by a bomb earlier this morning.

Despite “substantial material damages on the ASE building”, a statement on the exchange’s website confirmed that the Greek and Cypriot markets would operate following the normal time schedule.

According to major news agencies, the bomb was detonated around 05.00 local time. There have been no reported injuries or deaths.
