HSBC Securities Services has appointed Glenn Kennedy as Head of Trustee and Fiduciary Services for Asia.
Kennedy will report functionally to Ronnie Griffin, global head of Trustee and Fiduciary Services, and regionally to Ian Banks, head of HSBC Securities Services for Asia-Pacific.
Kennedy replaces Gidget Chan and will drive the development of HSBC’s trustee and fiduciary market offering across Asia.
Kennedy was previously regional head of sales for the alternatives sector in Asia-Pacific at HSBC Securities Services in Hong Kong. Prior to joining HSBC, Kennedy established BISYS’s alternative funds business in Asia.
