Michael Dolezal has joined Hudson River Trading as an options trader, based in Miami.
Dolezal’s new position as the proprietary trading firm follows an almost five-year tenure at Optiver, where he also served in the same position out of the firm’s Chicago desk.
He brings extensive fixed income options trading experience to the role,having previously worked at firms including IMC Trading and Geneva Trading.

Dolezal began his trading career at HTG Capital Partners, where he served as a fixed income options trader for almost nine years.
Hudson River Trading had not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication.
In June 2026, Optiver appointed Brett Sussman and Caitlin Krantz to its US-based team, joining as head of US institutional ETF sales trading and as a US ETF sales trader, respectively.
Both Sussman and Krantz’s additions are set to support counterparties looking to connect to Optiver’s global liquidity, market knowledge and execution capabilities across the ETF landscape.
