Kepler Cheuvreux appoints program trading sales trader

Incoming individual has previously worked at: Jefferies, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and Société Générale.

Kepler Cheuvreux Execution Services (KCx) has announced the appointment of Seb Klatt as program trading (PT) sales trader, The TRADE can reveal.

London-based Klatt is set to join from Jefferies on 1 October, having most recently served as senior vice president for 12 and a half years, working across PT and low touch. 

Prior to this, he worked in an execution sales and account management role at Société Générale, and before that was VP of sales trading at Merril Lynch.

Elsewhere, Hien Lê joined Kepler this week as an execution quant, following a stint at Millenium.

As part of the role, Lê will be based out of Paris and leverage her expertise in quantitative modelling.

KCx is present across 13 jurisdictions in Europe and the US, including: New York, London, Madrid, Oslo and Paris.

According to a memo seen by The TRADE, program trading and quant are both main points of focus for the KCx strategy.

Earlier this year, Kepler Cheuvreux announced that it was set to adopt Opensee’s trade management and execution analytics solution in a bid to enhance its offering, allowing users to independently analyse trading data and achieve optimal trade execution for a lesser cost.
