Kepler Cheuvreux selects Instinet execution services specialist for new algo trading role

Incoming individual had been with Instinet for seven years, most recently monitoring and supporting its European electronic, portfolio, cash equity, and algorithmic trading flow.

European agency broker Kepler Cheuvreux has appointed a former execution specialist at Instinet to expand its algorithmic trading offering.

Reagan Harding joins the firm as an algorithmic trader in a newly created role based in London.

“Working at the intersection of trading and quant, Reagan will bolster our agility in dealing with intraday client flow as well as help shape up our product to be more agile and stay on top of the rapidly evolving liquidity landscape,” said Kepler in a statement.

He joins Kepler after most recently serving at Instinet for the last seven years. Originally joining the firm in 2019 as a FIX client connectivity specialist, responsible for onboarding clients to its FIX protocol, he later joined the execution services team where he was responsible for monitoring and supporting its European electronic, portfolio, cash equity, latency sensitive and algorithmic trading flow.

His appointment follows a series of new additions to Kepler’s various teams, including Robert Bishop, who joined from Mirabaud Securities earlier this month as a small to mid-cap Scandinavian equity trader based in London.
