Kepler Cheuvreux taps Morgan Stanley for new equity sales trader

Incoming trader previously spent four years at Morgan Stanley as an equity sales trader and as an analyst.

Kepler Cheuvreux Execution Services (KCx) has added Sophie Egan to its high touch sales trading team, based in London.

Egan has been appointed equity sales trader, joining from Morgan Stanley where she spent the last two years in the same role.

Elsewhere in her tenure at Morgan Stanley, Egan served as an analyst for two years.

As part of her new role, Egan will help develop Kepler Chuevereux’s strategy to grow its execution footprint and expertise across the globe.

Sophie joins the KCx team which has a footprint spanning 13 financial centres in Europe and the US including Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Madrid, Milan, New York, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, Vienna, and Zurich.

The appointment of Egen follows that of Seb Klatt, who joined KCx as program sales trader in October.

Klatt joined KCx from Jefferies having spent 12 and a half years as senior vice president working across PT and low touch.
