LCH’s head of equities departs after three years with clearing house

Post-trade veteran who had held roles with JP Morgan, Soc Gen and Citi departs from role at LCH.

LCH’s head of equities Alex Krunic has left the clearing house after just over three years in the role.

During his tenure at LCH, Krunic was responsible for driving EquityClear’s strategy and managing relationships with clearing members and trading venues.

It is not yet confirmed where his next role will be. LCH said it does not comment on individuals in a response to a request from Global Custodian.

For LCH, while not a like-for-like replacement, some of Krunic’s responsibilities will fall to Ivan Gilmore, who was named head of cash equities for LCH, Ltd and SA at the end of last year.

Gilmore reports to Bruce Kellaway, global head of securities and collateral at LCH.

Krunic’s career has seen him in a range of post-trade roles at Societe Generale, JP Morgan and Citi, among others.
