Following a rigorous and robust selection process over the past three months, the shortlists for The TRADE’s highly anticipated Editors’ Choice Awards can finally be revealed. This year was one of the most competitive yet with one of the broadest fields, and as a result we’re delighted to say that several of the categories present a more extensive shortlist than in previous years, due to the strength and range of candidates.
In addition, 2022 sees several new categories added to the list, to recognise the changing marketplace and the evolution of new and exciting areas in the industry.
In addition to our central awards of Outstanding Exchange Group, Outstanding Equities Trading Venue, Outstanding Dark Trading Venue, Outstanding Fixed Income Trading Venue, Outstanding FX Trading Venue, Outstanding Derivatives Exchange Group, Outstanding Alternative Liquidity Provider, Outstanding Post-Trade Services Provider, Outstanding Market Data Provider and Outstanding Trading Technology Provider, we also added four new categories.
These include: Outstanding Challenger Exchange (to recognise those up-and-coming new venues that are shaking up the way things operate), Outstanding Innovation in Fixed Income (to highlight the extraordinary strides being taken in technology, operations and execution within the asset class), Outstanding Electronic Trading Initiative (to reward the players pushing forward progress in the electronic trading space) and Digital Asset Player to Watch (to capture the rising stars of crypto trading).
We are also introducing several exciting new awards categories that will, unlike the standard closed door judging process, be open to public vote… so watch this space.
Winners will be revealed at The TRADE’s gala awards ceremony at The Savoy Hotel on 3 November 2022, alongside our other prestigious awards including EMS, Algorithmic Trading and Buy-Side categories, so be sure to reserve your place for an unforgettable evening.
